Book Review: Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer

Book Review by: Mrs. Hercock

Oskar Schell's search for the lock that fits his key is not unlike man's search for meaning. This nine-year-old protagonist boldly confronts the loss of his father in the Towers on 9/11 and ultimately realizes... "So many people enter and leave your life! Hundreds of thousands of people! You have to keep the door open so they can come in! But it also means you have to let them go!" Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close is an innovative and compelling read.
