Book Review by: Mrs. Hercock
If you've ever felt restrained by some aspect of society, you'll appreciate the story of Balram Halwai, an Indian servant of the sweet maker caste who breaks out of the "Rooster Coop" of Darkness and enter the Light. His story emerges from a series of irony-rich emails, full of up-to-the-minute secrets of entrepreneurial success, to Premier Wen Jiabao of China. This White Tiger examines money, religion, corruption and virtue in modern India with side-splitting humor. Worth reading and rereading.
